Technical Approach

Built as a full-stack e-commerce platform with a Laravel backend and a dynamic frontend. Developed a custom product catalog system with multi-category support, product variants, and a customization request flow for bespoke furniture orders. Implemented a complete shopping flow including cart, wishlist, product comparison, and order tracking. The admin panel handles product management (add/edit/delete with images), category management, order management, and customer management. The site also hosts subdomains for client projects — including matricarehospital.torufurniturebd.com — demonstrating the scalable hosting setup implemented during deployment.

Challenges & Solutions

Furniture e-commerce in Bangladesh requires handling custom orders — items where size, material, or color may vary per customer. Implemented a customization request flow alongside the standard add-to-cart system so customers can submit custom specs directly from a product page. Order tracking was built as a standalone lookup feature (no login required) using order ID, making it accessible to all customers. Product comparison required storing temporary comparison state across page navigation, handled via localStorage on the frontend.

Outcome

Successfully delivered a fully functional online furniture store for Toru Furniture BD, enabling them to reach customers across Bangladesh with a complete digital shopping experience — from browsing and wishlist to custom orders and delivery tracking. The server setup also supports multiple client subdomains under the same hosting environment.
