myhospital.com.bd is a doctor appointment and serial booking platform built for Hashem Modern Hospital, serving patients across multiple locations in Bangladesh including Gauraipur Bazar, Nangalkot (Comilla), Motlab, and Narayanpur. The system was originally purchased as a ready-made script from CodeCanyon and extensively customized to meet the client's specific operational requirements — including multi-location support, department-based doctor filtering, today's doctor listing, ambulance service, a separate blood donation subdomain, and full Bangla-language interface.

Technical Approach

Started with a purchased CodeCanyon doctor appointment script as the base. Performed deep customization of both the frontend and backend to match the client's exact requirements. Key customizations included: converting the entire frontend interface to Bangla, implementing multi-location/branch support for 6+ hospital locations, adding a day-of-week-based "today's doctor" filter that dynamically shows only available doctors for the current day, integrating an ambulance service module, setting up a separate blood donation subdomain, and configuring 16 medical departments with Bangla labels. Also handled full server deployment and configuration.

Challenges & Solutions

The biggest challenge was adapting a generic English-language CodeCanyon script into a fully Bangla-language, multi-branch hospital system without breaking core functionality. The original script had no concept of multi-location filtering — this required extending the database schema and query logic to support location-based doctor listings. The "today's doctor" feature needed a dynamic day-of-week filter mapped against each doctor's weekly schedule. All frontend labels, navigation, and content were translated and localized to Bangla to serve the hospital's patient base.

Outcome

Successfully deployed a live, fully operational hospital appointment system for Hashem Modern Hospital serving patients across 6+ locations in Bangladesh. Patients can find doctors by department or area, check today's availability, and book serial appointments online — reducing phone-based appointment load and improving patient experience.
